Follow the steps at your own pace
- Select the report period and open “Activity trend”. In “Activity”, switch between scheduled ends elapsed, completed, unresolved and completion rate.
- In “Cancellations & no-shows”, choose “Count” or “Rate”. Tap a chart time bucket for exact values, and scroll sideways when needed.
- In “Customer visits”, review verified repeat visits. The first-visit metric is unavailable because retained history cannot prove a first-ever visit. Read the identity coverage explanation alongside the values.
- In “Service value”, follow completed service value. Distinguish known fixed prices from missing prices; this is not a payments report.
- In “Period comparison”, check the current and previous cards and their exact dates. Read changes and percentages alongside the comparison windows and metric explanation.
Frequently asked questions
Which appointments count as historical?
Only appointments whose scheduled end has passed in the business time zone: start plus stored duration. Future appointments and those without reliable duration are excluded. An ended appointment still pending or confirmed is unresolved, not automatically completed or a no-show.
What are the rates based on?
Trend completion, cancellation and no-show rates use ended appointments with a final outcome: completed, cancelled or no-show. Open and unknown statuses are outside that denominator. Check the denominator before comparing with period-summary rates. Cancellations and no-shows belong to the appointment date, not the status-change date.
What is a proven repeat visit?
It requires an earlier completed visit that ended at or before the current visit started, for the same verified identity. A customer counts once within each time bucket; do not add customer counts across buckets. This differs from the period returning-customer metric, which requires two completed appointments within the period.
Why is a value unavailable or only a verified subset?
The period may be future, reliable duration, identity or fixed price may be missing, or history may not prove a first or repeat visit. This is not zero. Known amounts and counts are labelled as a verified subset and do not guarantee complete coverage.
How is an unfinished period compared?
Equivalent elapsed parts are compared in the business time zone. Different-length periods use their common elapsed portion. Card starts are included and ends excluded. A zero or missing previous value has no relative percentage change; differences between rates use percentage points.
Does switching trend groups consume a quota?
There is no monthly use or generation quota. The 10,000-appointment processing limit applies to one report, including comparison and required history, rather than the number of times you switch groups.
